I really don’t want to go to rehearsal today if I end up not being needed again. For the past two weeks it’s said “everyone” on the rehearsal schedule, and I’ve shown up, and been caught learning a song that I’m not actually in/nor want to be in. So maybe I just won’t go.

I caved and bought one of those super hipster Herschel’s backpacks today. The man who sold it to me said, “There you are, enjoy your brand new Herschel’s backpack!” as if I was joining some kind of elite hipster club or something.
It’s kind of super pretty in a plain old mainstream-hipster way, but now I just feel embarrassed. For everybody involved.
